Kanye West blames himself for mom’s death

Speaking to Q magazine, the 38-year-old rapper tells the magazine that he holds himself accountable for the death of his mom Donda West, who died in 2007 of heart disease from "multiple post-operative factors" after plastic surgery.

When asked by the magazine if there is one thing in his life that he has sacrificed for his massive level of success, Kanye simply said, "My mom.”
“If I had never moved to L.A. she'd be alive. I don't want to go far into it because it will bring me to tears." Kanye added.
